In a nutshell, Platelet Rich Plasma therapy treatments harness the cells own healing powers to promote new tissue growth. A small amount of the patient’s own blood is taken and the plasma is separated to create the platelet rich plasma. This plasma is then injected into the area of concern where the platelets release their growth factors.
The hair recovery program reduces the inflammation and provide better supply of the key ingredients for healthy cellular growth and prevention of hair loss. The PRP Treatment plan is between 3-6 months then maintenance. Depending on your individual needs we can discuss just having the PRP as a standalone treatment or the hair recovery program.
This treatment is suitable for anyone suffering with hair loss, alopecia or who have had a hair transplant. Using your own bloods, platelets and plasma, PRP stimulates collagen growth helping to kick start the hair follicle. It revitalises the hair bulb and results include a greater thickness and strength, it also strengthens the anchorage of the root and rebalances the scalp.
PRP and the hair recovery program are an elite hair restoration package, each client will need to come in for a consultation where we can assess your requirements and use our device to see if there are any follicles present in the area you wish to be treated. The treatment plans consists of 4 PRP treatments and 5 treatments using the hair recovery program.
Once your treatment plan has finished, we will assess if any further treatment is required using our scalp analyser tool. treatment will then go into maintenance every 6-8 weeks may that be one treatment of PRP or a block of 5 treatments of hair recovery program until we’re both happy with the desired results, this may not be needed if results are achieved.
